About our partnership with the UWV
The UWV, a Dutch government agency, states that people are at their best if they can participate in society through work. In turn, society functions best when as many people as possible participate in it by participating in the workforce. The UWV sees it as its mission, together with its partners, to make a difference by promoting work for people.
Besides, the UWV is open to offering a new perspective to promote work and participation in society. In our case, that new perspective is the impact that high sensitivity can have on your work. On the type of work that you enjoy, a workplace that suits you and a culture where you feel comfortable. If we want to make high sensitivity society-wide normal (again), the workplace is one of the most important places to draw attention to.
Being highly sensitive and being in the midst of society
Make no mistake, we don’t want to “brand” high sensitivity as something very special. Highly sensitive people do not benefit from exclusion or exceptions, it is important they can be in the middle of society with their traits. Our collaboration with the UWV symbolizes this. We do believe that every highly sensitive person carries beautiful talents and can make a unique contribution to his or her work.
That’s why it is so important that we make these people “fit for work”. That is not always easy. Certainly if you have not felt fit for years. A personal development journey is hard work and an investment. We do this together with UWV. We are also affiliated with the UWV as a training institute, so that professionals can follow training courses on high sensitivity with us.
Meaningful down to earth support
We are extremely proud that we, as a training institute and as a network of experts, can support so many people together with the UWV. Hooggevoelig heel gewoon is the first and only organization that is a partner of the UWV in the field of high sensitivity. It is a fantastic opportunity for us to be able to share our knowledge, the scientific background, practical knowledge, methods and tools (etcetera). Without being vague or spiritual. We believe in practical applicability, translation into daily practice and experiencing things ourselves.
We offer all this in various forms. In groups, one on one, online. And always at your own pace, with a combination of visual, cognitive and experiential learning. Our DNA, which incorporates all of the above, fits in seamlessly with the UWV’s vision on work, reintegration and participation.
